Preparing your pond for winter
it is recommended that you remove
all the debris that is on the bottom ie: decaying leaves, loose pebbles anything that bad bacteria
can hide in. Cut back plants before they wilt and sink to the bottom to decay. Its a myth that pond pumps should be shut down in fish pond, they still need the water circulation even in winter.
